This box was built from a combination of 3/8” walnut heartwood and walnut sapwood joined by double-double box joints using walnut sapwood and wenge in the joints.  It has a solid walnut sliding top and felt bottom.  The dimensions of the box are 9 ¾” x 4 3/8” x 2 5/8”, so it will accommodate paint brushes up to 9” long.  It would make a striking, one-of-a kind addition to any studio.
