This box was built from a combination of 1/2" cypress and padauk and features a removable top and cornerpost double-double dovetail joints at the corners.  It has a felt bottom and the top shows a lovely lamination of cypress within the padauk.  The dimensions of the box are ~13" long, 4.5" wide, and 3.25" tall, so it will accommodate paint brushes up to 12" long.
