This felt-lined jewelry/keepsake box was built with a combination of rift-sawn white oak and impossible-to-find spalted white oak.  The accent wood in the double dovetails and laminations is purple heart.  The lift handle is made from padauk.  The laminated top features wooden white oak hinges and the box measures 9" x 5 1/2" x 3.5".  This box is pretty as a picture and one-of-a-kind.
