This felt-lined jewelry/keepsake box was built with impossible-to-find spalted white oak.  The accent wood in the double dovetails and laminations is purple heart.  The lift handle is made from purple heart, and the laminated, raised-panel top features wooden white oak hinges.  The box measures 9" x 5 1/2" x 3.5".  This box is pretty as a picture and completely one-of-a-kind.
