This little box was built from 3/8” walnut that was cut where you can see the boundary between the heartwood and sapwood.  The grain of the wood can be seen wrapping around the sides of the box.   The ends and sides are joined with 3/16” box joints and the box is felt lined.  The box has a complimentary boundary wood sliding top that accents the wrap around sides.  It would make a striking, one-of-a kind addition to any studio.
