This small dresser box was built from walnut heartwood and walnut sapwood and the ends are joined with the sides using 3/16" box joints.  The top includes a piece of walnut showing both heartwood and sapwood, and the box measures 7.5" x 3.25" x 2.75".  The sides, top, and bottom are rounded over and the little box fits perfectly in the hand.  The bottom of the box is felt-lined.  It would make a striking addition to any room.
