This beautiful box was built from a combination of 3/8” quartersawn white oak and purple heart.  The ends and sides were joined using double-double box joints and topped with a 1/4" sliding white oak lid with purple heart laminated within the top.  It has a felt bottom and its dimensions are 10” x 5” x 2 5/8” tall so it will accommodate paint brushes up to 9” long.  It would make a striking, one-of-a kind addition to any studio.
